Although this locus is annotated as a putative pseudogene, there is microarray evdence of transcription and several cDNA sequences are available. By combining these with theoretical predictions (sequences here, text file of the alignment here), a putative gene structure has been suggested (download sequence here).Note that one of the ESTs apparently comes from an alternatively spliced mRNA.
