AtFH12 - revision of the gene model

At the time of our first locus revision, there were no available cDNA sequences for AtFH12, and the original predicted protein sequence was conspicuously short and lacked some conserved sequence motifs.
Therefore, an attempt has been made to reconstruct the gene structure on the basis of automated prediction results and closest relatives (blue arrows), resulting in a predicted cDNA (red arrow) which differs from the current prediction (top) by one intron (text file of the alignment here). Later, a full-length cDNA has been added, leading to additional correction of the C-terminal part of the sequence.

The version from genome annotation is now well supported by full-length cDNA (but beware of a mutation at the very end of the cDNA clone.
